This the second of two meetings held on March 8, 2010 which prompted my letter to the editor Partially published on March 17, eventually fully published in the Independent on March 17, that is also posted on the Owosso Charter TWP forum at

This was a very long meeting. Unnecessarily long (3 hrs) , and after already having an hour and a half meeting with Tom Newhof .

It took 45 minutes to approve the minutes of previous meetings?
How ridiculous.
Then another 45 minutes arguing over a "non-issue"
Double ridiculous.
I only wish I could convey the pain in all of this.
In any event this is 20 parts.
Most are about 9 1/2 minutes.
